How to Apply Beard Oil & Balm

Like moisturiser for the skin or conditioner for the hair, beard oil & balm will nourish and protect your beard. Here's The Beard Of Attraction tutorial to keep your scruff looking sharp and feeling soft.

Before You Begin

• The best time to apply is after a hot shower or face wash, when your hairs are cleanest and softest; this is when they will most easily absorb the oils and balms. 
• Dry your beard completely before applying any product. Water will prevent the oils and balms from being absorbed.

 

Beard Oil & Balm Application

Depending on the size of your beard (see our ‘How much to use’ oil & balm guide below) put oil or balm in the palm of your hand.

Spread it evenly in your palms and fingers.

Once the product is distributed, brush your palms along the sides of your beard and also beneath to the skin. 

Do the same down the front.

Then bring both hands up through the bottom of your beard and make sure to get the product right into the skin, then straighten front.

Use your finger tips to coat the hairs on your mustache.

Use The Beard Of Attraction comb to evenly distribute the oils & balms while setting the hairs back in place. 

Repeat this process once daily to keep your beard soft and conditioned. 

Additional Tips:

• Frequency of application varies based on season, climate, and numerous other factors. Start with an every-other-day application and adjust as you deem necessary. 
• Using our oils together with our balms will also give added softness and control and will help you maintain a sharp look everyday.
